One of DreamBank’s core values is transparency and we want to be totally upfront on the costs that we charge to our users. Even though we use PayPal to securely process your dream funds, you are not subject to PayPal’s regular fee structure. We have worked out the best possible fee schedule for our users and will continue to enhance the offering as we grow. We will be adding additional currencies as it becomes cost efficient for our Dreamers and Contributors.

Fees

Contributors: $2.25CAD transaction fee on each contribution. That’s all, no shopping required and you get it right every time!

Dreamers : 2.5% cash-in fee (on dream fund total). If you hold a PayPal account that is not in Canadian funds, you will be subject to PayPal’s currency conversion rates/costs. Make sure you consider these two things and simply add a buffer to cover them when you set up your dream.

A Few Other Things You Should Know

1. Posting a Dream

You do not need a PayPal account to post a dream, but you must have a PayPal account to cash in a dream.  There is no cost for this and it just takes a few minutes to set up your account. Simply visit www.paypal.com

All Dreams are posted in Canadian Dollars. If you are outside of Canada, there is a currency converter you can use to help you post the Canadian Dollar equivalent to your desired dream amount. Don’t worry, you can still have your dream funds converted into your own currency when you cash in. Use the currency converter at www.xe.com

2. Contributing to a Dream

Dreams are posted in Canadian Dollars so your contribution will be made in Canadian Dollars as well. There’s a currency converter to help you make the contribution amount you desire. The currency conversion will happen automatically when your payment is processed through your Credit, Debit or PayPal account.

3. Cashing in your Dream

To cash in a dream you simply follow the cash in process. Note***It can take up to 7 business days to recieve your funds***. Please account for this in your target date. Your funds (less any fees, as above) will be transferred to your PayPal account.
