Hello, My name is Ernie. For years, I have been creating/editing informational videos for my church's Sunday school class for children. I created a new video each month, each one focused on a new country in the world that was the mission focus. These videos were used to teach the children about life in other countries, and how they could help to spread the love of God to that country through BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge). Sadly, the computer that I have been using is unable to handle the large amount of memory required to edit these videos. After crash after crash, and hours of waiting for the programs I use to load, I became extremely irritated. After struggling with these problems for I while, my computer became slower and slower. Now, it is almost impossible for me to make a new video each month, because my computer is so slow, it seems like it could take years to make one video! I finally decided that to avoid all the stress and anger, I would have to stop making these videos, for the time being. The computer I have now is a PC (emachine), and a slow one at that. I know that Macs are expensive, but they are ideal for video editing, music editing, and the other programs that are necessary to create these informational videos. Yes, they are expensive, but I am saving up some money of own to contribute. That is why I am not asking for thousands of dollars. I am a student and I don't have a lot of money, but I am trying my best to save up what I can. If you can, and if God has placed it on your heart to give, please consider helping me. If I had this macbook, I would be able to edit videos for my church again, and continue teaching children about countries and missionaries.
