It would be a dream of mine come true if we could put together a national event with an annual competition that would draw young women together from across our great country and have them prepare and present what their communities, their provinces and what their country means to them. And in winning this competition, during the following year one of them would be given an opportunity to visit each of Canada's provinces and to learn more about what makes them special and unique and to have an opportunity to share with others what their 'dreams' for Canada are and to empower young women and girls they meet during their travels. I believe this kind of event and competition could outshine any 'beauty pageant' that is out there. As well it could be open to average young ladies no matter what size or shape, color or culture they come from.
