I am a single mother still raising 3 or my six children (3 have moved out) and my 3 year old grandson. I have been a single mother since 1997 when my children's father left Canada. He was mentally unwell at the time and disappeared for the next 11 years. After all those years of searching, we found him in his homeland of Australia this January 1, 2008. He had been living on the streets for most of those years. After the initial excitement of finding him, I took on two jobs to help pay for the kids to reunite with their dad. My youngest daughter has no memory of her dad. With two jobs and caring for the family (including my 3 year old grandson), I am finding it extremely difficult to make this dream happen. With the cost of living rising, it seems I am only working to pay for these increases. One ticket to Australia is about $2,000! I was very excited to find this site today and my hope is for my children's dream to come true. I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can help me achieve this dream. Thank you.
