As the Olympics are in my backyard and I am a huge Olympic fan, I will be going to a few events at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

The days that I do go it will be difficult to keep up with the other events...but you have to get out there an experience them to make them memories that will last a lifetime. I went to a hockey game and a medal ceremony in Calgary in 1988 - one of the best days of my life...after Rome's Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican City; Paris's Louve and Eiffel Tower; and Boston's Freedom Trail, Cheers and a Red Sox game...and I can't forget my wedding day :)

I will be going to at least one hockey game, speed skating and probably a skiing event.

I don't need the full $1025 to cover the cost...if I don't get any money, that's fine too....I will shell out the money. But instead of getting me a gift that I probably won't wear or won't use...please think about giving me money for this dream.

And why not stipulate that I have to go with you to an event :)
